Yesterday, I attended my first meeting with the Saxapahaw Chamber of Commerce held at Roxie’s____, how of Sue. Roxie is Sue’s dog, a very sweet red pit bull. She greeted everyone at the door. I just love cradling her big, powerful head in my hands!
Local business owners, another artist, people who grow produce for our farmers Market and Nancy __, co-owner of Benjamin’s Vineyard, were there.
Talked about the history of the community, exciting projects (in progress and to be started soon, and possible future events. Very creative people with lots of innovative ideas.
So when you come to Saxapahaw, there is a lot to do and see!
